The green light marking laser is an advanced device that performs high-contrast markings on plastic materials. Thanks to its high peak power and short pulse duration, it generates very little heat during the process, avoiding damage to the material. This type of laser produces clear and sharp markings, with color shifts towards white, rather than yellow or brown. The green wavelength (532 nm) is particularly effective on plastic materials, making the green laser ideal for applications in the electronics, medical, and home appliance sectors, where precision and quality of markings are essential.
The green light marking laser operates at a wavelength of 532 nm, obtained through a crystal that halves the infrared wavelength (typically from Nd:YAG as the active medium). This wavelength is highly absorbed by many plastic materials, allowing for precise and high-quality markings. The high peak power, combined with a very short pulse duration of 2ns, significantly reduces heat accumulation, avoiding deformations or thermal damage to the substrate. The ability to generate clear and sharp markings, with color shifts towards white, makes it ideal for applications requiring high readability and contrast. The architecture of the green light laser also allows for great flexibility in marking parameters, adapting to different production speeds and material types. Moreover, the energy efficiency of the green laser helps reduce operating costs, while its compatibility with advanced automation systems facilitates its integration into existing production lines. This makes it particularly suitable for sectors such as electronics, medical, and home appliances, where precision and quality of markings are fundamental for product traceability and branding.
Towerslide X agilely marks components of different shapes and sizes. The marking area of 650×150 mm allows for inserting pallets with multiple components. It’s possible to create different template models to adapt to any type of gadget, based on production needs. Processing and model changes are extremely simple, and customers can quickly and economically vary the type and quantity of gadgets to be marked. The machine can also be equipped with a W-axis to mark cylindrical parts such as cups and water bottles.
Compared to systems with a rotating table that have a side entrance for pre-setting activities, the Towerslide X has a convenient and wide front door that greatly simplifies setup operations. With small production batches, it can also be used as a standalone station and perform single markings or on individual pallets quickly and easily.
